LILLEBaby Feature | CarryOn Review

Neigh! Neigh! Are the words my daughter always says to me when she wants to be carried in our LILLEbaby "CarryOn" carrier.

Everywhere we go, we get comments and compliments on it, and a lot of stares too lol.
So far, the back carry is our most favorite! I'm basically a human horse for our daughter, and I haven't been spared a few jokes from my hubby haha.

Moms and Dad's of toddlers know all too well that grocery shopping with toddler's is usually, well, something along the lines of a nightmare (lol)... and Bella is no exception since she's in that super active stage right now... so active (which is not a bad thing by any means of course). She's such a little adventurer and wants to explore the store on her own two feet, touch every fruit and vegetable and grab onto anything Disney related lol. And she practically scares me to death with the fact that she's always trying to stand up in the cart, and has come close to falling more than once... So that's where the LILLEbaby comes in handy. Shopping has become a breeze! She sits snuggled up so close to me and quietly surveys her surroundings and says "Hi!" to everyone we walk by in the store haha. The difference is amazing, and it leaves my hands free to shop!

The CarryOn is a roomier carrier designed specifically for the growing toddler in mind! It features a not only wider, but taller torso than most carriers and is one of the most versatile toddler carriers being sold.

One of the other reasons we love the LILLEBaby CarryOn toddler carrier is  because it is an ergonomic carrier (which is super important) and it both comfortably and safely carries my child. If you think your kiddos have outgrown being carried but they still love being carried, no worry, this carrier holds littles ranging in size from 20 to 60 pounds! Yay! That means we have several more years of toddler carrying if we want, since at almost 2 and a half, Bella is only around 30 pounds.

It's also great for  so many occasions besides grocery shopping, we like wearing it while taking out the trash, sometimes when carrying the laundry back and forth between our apartment and the laundry room, outdoor festivities, walking around town, going for walks and sometimes when mommy is busy and needs the use of both hands but a little just needs some snuggles.

5 Minute Avocado Tuna Bowls

I whipped these up a few days ago and after tasting them, I decided they were too good not to share! They look fancy and like you spent awhile making them but really they're so easy to take it's almost ridiculous. And they taste amazing! Who doesn't love spending 5 minutes on a delicious recipe? Plus it's relatively healthy, sooooo win-win!

INGREDIENTS YOU'LL NEED:

1 can chunk light tuna in water

1 red bell pepper

1 roma tomato

1 avocado

1 tablespoon mustard

3 tablespoons mayonnaise

1/4 teaspoon dill weed

1/8 teaspoon onion powder

DIRECTIONS:
Open your tuna and drain as much of the water out as you can, set aside. Next dice your red pepper and roma tomato, add those to the bowl with your tuna. Now carefully cut open your avocado and carefully remove the pit and slice the avocado meat inside into small pieces, make sure not to cut the shell since you'll be using those as the "bowls". Toss the avocado bits into the bowl with your tuna, red pepper and tomato. Add the mustard, mayo, dill and onion powder into the bowl and mix until everything is coated and the spices and sauce are mixed together. Spoon into your leftover avocado shells, grab a spoon and enjoy!

Mother's Day Gift Guide

Mother's Day is right around the corner, a wonderful day to celebrate becoming a mother and our journeys in motherhood and to celebrate our own mothers! So I've rounded up a few of my favorites to give my hubby some ideas and you can also send to your man if you spy something you can't live without! These are some of my top wish-list items (especially that recipe box *hint*) and top loved items that I'm sure you'll love!

Seriously, how gorgeous is this? I was planning on going with a citrus theme kitchen, but as soon as I saw this I changed my mind and am going with a farmer's market herb and veggie theme! It's the perfect accessory to any kitchen, and you can fill it with all your favorite family recipe to hand down to your kiddos years down the road!

I talked about these in a blog post recently (found here), they're a staple in my wardrobe and to my mom uniform and they're super comfy! Also head over to the blog to win a $50 shop credit to Ruby Claire Boutique so you can get yourself a pair!

This shirt is so, so, so comfortable. I literally can't say it enough how much I love this shirt, not only for the comfort factor and the way it feels like it was custom made for me, but for the words, truly as a mother, my hands are full, but my heart is even more full, so "hands full, heart full" is the perfect saying for this shirt! And don't forget to snag a matching tote bag! Plus you can use my code JOYFULTRIBE10 for 10% off!

I'm just a little copper obsessed and this pretty colander is the perfect addition to ANY kitchen! Perfect for every day use, or as decor... maybe even both!

I mostly only drink water from glass, to me water from plastic has a weird aftertaste and with glass you also know that you're not getting plastic particle and chemicals seeping into your water and therefore into your body. These are so pretty with all of the different colors they come in and the mint is my favorite.

This sign just gets me with alllllll the feelings. It makes me think of all the little moments you don't even think about as being memories, but become some of the best memories. We definitely need this one for our home.

I've heard such good things about this book, I always love clearing things out and donating things so I'm thinking this book is right up my alley.

IN addition to being obsessed with copper, I'm also obsessed with gold. I've been searching for an affordable gold leather bag for some time and came across this one on Etsy a few months back, needless to say, it's on my wish-list.

This tiny little sign is less than 5 inches tall, is handmade with reclaimed wood and it's the perfect addition to any nightstand.

I've heard nothing but good things about Lush and their bath bombs, especially this one, The "Sex Bomb" (funny name I know lol), it say's its scented with jasmine (one of my favorite scents), clary sage and ylang ylang! Ahhh, sounds like bath-time perfection!
