What I'm Loving Wednesday

Happy Wednesday! I am so excited to bring you another installment of "What I'm Loving Wednesday" a weekly post that will list some things from the past week that I am loving, can't live without, on my wish-list, or are things I am plain obsessed with - and I will even add links (when applicable) so you can check out or scoop up anything you love too!

I know you probably thought I completely forgot about What I'm Loving Wednesday, since I haven't done one in awhile. But I'm determined to (try) and keep up with them. If you're new and haven't seen a WILW post before, here's a little about them: What I'm Loving Wednesday is one of my favorite ways for me to showcase some of my favorite products, tell about something fun that happened, show you what I'm crushing on, highlight some of my favorite blogs and instagram feeds and a great way for you to find all kinds of great new products to buy or people to follow! I am so excited about What I'm Loving Wednesday and it is going to be a BLAST! I hope you  will follow along!

Today is all about... Well, honestly a little bit of everything! Read all about what I'm loving this week below!

I've been trying to switch my makeup over to safer brands this year, and though I haven't gotten them all switched over yet this has been one of my favorite and most go-to items since switching to safer lip color. This Pretty Balm is essentially lip balm, but tinted and it adds the perfect pop of color to lips in my opinion. I have this in the color "Gossip" and I'm pretty sure I need this in a warmer color for autumn and winter, maybe either "Campbell" or "merlot". Made from completely natural and organic ingredients, this lip balm is also vegan and made right here in the USA!

If you haven't heard of Lindsey Stirling yet you're definitely missing out, but I am so thrilled to be able to tell you about her music! She's one of my all time favorite musical artists and the sounds of the violin will have your mind dancing away into an ethereal world of music and perfection. The first track off of the album "Lost Girls" is definitely my most favorite song off of the album, it has a slightly Celtic sound to it and since I'm of half Irish/Scottish heritage that sound and the melodies of Irish music always seem to enrapture me.

I recently featured Alpine Baby Co. and one of their adorable products in my blog post "5 pairs of leggings your child need now" and we are still more than loving them. They've been one of our favorite brands for awhile and with the quality and uniqueness of their products I have a feeling they will be one of our favorites for quite a long time. My only complaint is that they don't make leggings in my size, haha. Buys seriously, we love these leggings. All of their products feature 100% organic cotton printed with eco friendly ink and this brand and products support fair trade! Their seamstresses are paid well above the minimum wage so you know that each stich in these leggings goes to not only a purpose, but a mother and family behind each one. Putting meals on their tables and clothing their children. That's definitely something I can support. Each pair of leggings that Chelsi from Alpine Baby Co. thinks up is designed in Montana and since the signature "x" mark on the knee patch of the leggings is hand sewn, each pair of leggings is one of a kind! I'm definitely looking forward to their holiday line dropping soon!

Four | All Things Pumpkin
October is the season of pumpkin everything, and September too and half of November. Pumpkin pie, cute heirloom pumpkins everywhere, pumpkin ice cream... We've been enjoying them all. We're planning on heading to the pumpkin patch soon over at Irons Mill Farmstead to pick out a pumpkin (we're hoping to find a really big one) and carve it. Last year was a cute little smiley pumpkin face with a hairbow, I'd love to do something different this year but I'm not sure what yet. And if you're in the market for a new kitchen tea towel grab (this one) from Anthropologie, it's one of my favorites.

Five | Thinking About Christmas
I know, I know. It's not even Halloween yet. Not even Thanksgiving yet. But still. I'm one of those people who is half whovian and half elf. I LOVE Christmas and I tend to get excited about it early on. Right now I'm thinking I may need to swing by Bath & Body Works soon for some candles and soap because rumor has it, they are already stocking them in the stores! And then I may already be listening to Michael Buble's Christmas album and dreaming of putting up our new Christmas tree next month.
