Easter Basket Must Haves

Springtime is finally here and Easter is just right around the corner and y'all I am so excited. I've been gathering up some sweet items for Bella's Easter basket for the past few months (because it's never too early to start preparing for the Easter basket) and the last few items have arrived earlier this week, and goodness I'm so excited to finally share them with you! I just love that all of the items are either one that Bella will love for fun or that we'll love for practical reasons (I actually caved in and already gave her the shampoo, it just smells so good that I couldn't resist, and one of the hairbows). Read all about Bella's Easter basket below (and hopefully even get some ideas for your own little one's Easter basket)!

Where do I even begin with these hairbows? I've been obsessing over the hairbows over at Wunderkin Co. (formerly Free Babes Handmade)  for practically forever, and this spring drop is just too good! It's really hard for me to say that I have a favorite because they'r all so pretty, but the Annabelle Oversized Schoolgirl Bow is pretty amazing, I absolutely love the size of it and it pairs so well with so many outfits, the Blossom Schoolgirl Bow is the sweetest little bow as well, absolutely perfection for springtime, the Wisteria Pigtail Schoolgirl Bow Set is so darling, my little one loves braids and pigtails so I foresee these getting lots of wear, and last but not least, you know I love all things floral, this Bee Liberty of London Sailor Bow is pretty much the sweetest thing this side of the Mississippi, I mean just look how darling it is?! I just love that they are handmade by women all across the United States who are employed by Wunderkin Co., made from the best fabrics (these are made from 100% cotton), are hand tied and all come with a "guaranteed for life" promise (which means if it ever comes untied for some reason you can send it back, they'll retie it and send it back, seriously the best customer service and policy), they're some of he best quality hairbows I've ever seen!

T W O | SPELL WELL NAME PUZZLE™ | SMILING TREE TOYS
Wooden toys are some of my favorite, I love how nostalgic and old fashioned they are, and I just love the heirloom feel to this piece from Smiling Tree Toys, even better is that it's personalized! Each piece sold by Smiling Tree Toys is lovingly handcrafted in Minnesota, and are only made with the best quality materials (one reason I love to shop small and support the handmade makers of the United States). This "Spell Well" name puzzle features maple letters which contrast so nicely with the walnut wood base of the puzzle. While kiddos will love playing with this (little ones always love wooden puzzles), it's also perfect for as a photo prop for monthly photos or a birth announcement, doubles as room decor to add a super personalized tough to your little one's room, and it also helps little ones learn how to spell their name! We just love this wooden puzzle.

T H R E E | POMEGRANATE PEAR BUBBLE BATH | TUBBY TODD
I've previously chatted about our love for Tubby Todd products, and for a couple years I wondered what all the buzz was about, I wondered "can it really be THAT good?" and once we finally tried it, it all made sense. It really is THAT good! I've heard people say "it's so pricey" and I used to think the same thing... until I realized I was spending $5 a bottle for another natural brand at our grocery store every 2 weeks( for a bottle that was about the same size as Tubby Todd), with the other brand I had to use so much to get it to clean properly (like 4 pumps just to wash Bella's hair, which is a lot) so I decided something needed to change. With Tubby Todd, a regular sized bottle of hair and body wash will last us 3 months, so paying a little more is totally worth it (especially since it's all natural and contains no icky ingredients) and actually cheaper for us in the long run! I only have to use a pea sized amount to wash her hair and just a tiny drop to wash her body as well, it lathers so well and cleans like no other brand I've tried. In a few months I'm planning on purchasing the new 25 oz size (that I'm sure will last us forever), but I just had to try the new spring scents this time. I'm so excited to try out this Pomegranate Pear bubble bath from Tubby Todd, we've used their hair and body wash and also their everyday lotion (and absolutely loved both) so I can't wait to include this in Bella's Easter basket for lots of fun bubble baths on rainy days and before bedtime after days of outdoor play!

F O U R | "BRILLIANT BEE" NATURAL BEESWAX CRAYONS | ooly
Bella is such a little artist, she love coloring, painting and pretty much anything that has to do with art, so when I found these Brilliant Bee natural Beeswax crayons from ooly, I was so excited (I'm obsessed with anything bee related) and knew they'd make the perfect addition to her Easter basket. These crayons are thick so they won't easily break, and have a great triangle shape which makes for an ergonomic fit to your kiddo's little hand as they let their imaginations flow into paper. These crayons are also really vivid and work great on black craft paper as well (how cool, right). I know Bella is going to absolutely love these.

F I V E | FLAX MAXI LARGE ALL PURPOSE MAT | GATHRE
I've been following along with Gathre since the beginning (even before they were Gathre) and you literally have no idea how excited I am to get my hands on this Flax Maxi. I just love everything about it, the circle shape, the size, the color (flax has been my favorite color since it started selling last year), and the fact that we'll have so many picnics with it, beach days, indoor art, literally so many uses for it! I'll be talking more about it in a full blog post next month but I'm so excited to include this in Bella's Easter goodies this year!

S I X | "JUST BLUSH" MOCCASINS | SWEET N SWAG
We just love Sweet N Swag moccs, they're so affordable and make the perfect addition to almost every outfit Bella owns, and I am simply loving the light pink color to this "Just Blush" pair of moccasins, it's the prettiest shade of blush pink and they're perfect for springtime.

S E V E N | GREY STORK BLANKET | PEHR DESIGNS
My love for this blanket runs deep, its one of Bella's favorite blankies and the quality is off the charts amazing, definitely an heirloom quality piece and something that will last through not only her, but will be great for baby #2 as well when we have another little one in the future, maybe even something that she can pass down to her own little one someday. I love the little grey polka dots on the off white background and the grey stitching details really complete the blanket. Perfect for nap-time and story-time!

Happy Easter!
