Our 2016 Christmas Cards with Tiny Prints

This year for our Christmas cards (and some Christmas gifts too) we've partnered with the awesome people over at Tiny Prints! I've always admired those gold foil Christmas cards that everyone seems to send out, they just have that extra little bit of sparkle and holiday joy so when I spotted this design (the "Framed Snowflake" card) over at Tiny Prints, I knew it was the perfect card for our 2016 holiday cards!

Christmas cards are one of those traditions that seem to be slipping away and becoming a forgotten about thing of the past, but I'm doing my best to keep the tradition alive and well in our little family. Since my husband and I got married and I became a wife with my own household to run, I haven't missed a Christmas, although I was a little late to the ballgame in 2013 and got them in the mail only a few days before Christmas, but hey, I had just given birth a week and a half before, so I think that was okay lol. But anyway, sending and receiving Christmas cards has always been one of my most favorite traditions. I remember as a little girl, being so excited whenever my family would receive a Christmas card, the excitement to see who it was from, what it looked like and what it said. The excitement of another card to hang up, we'd usually have quite a nice collection by the time Christmas rolled around. I'd always either tape them to the back of the front entryway door, the wall beside it or on the doorway trim.

Sparkly glitter cards, metallic foil cards and photo cards were always my favorites. It was always so much fun to see relatives and friends in photos who we hadn't seen in awhile and see how different (or the same) that they looked this year. The past 3 years I've also started sending photo cards, and this years cards might just be my favorite yet.

We went to our favorite local Christmas tree farm, this tree farm has the prettiest trees and if our apartment allowed us to have a real tree, we'd most definitely get one of the ones they sell here, because they're so beautiful! I took my camera, tripod and camera remote and snapped our photos in about 15 minutes. They turned out super cute, which I was definitely happy about since it was " one of those days" for Bella (hashtag toddler life lol), she did love running through the trees and playing hide and seek, feeling all of the different textures of the trees, hugging mama and flying through the air with daddy catching her.

I have a feeling that Tiny Prints is going to become our go-to place for Christmas cards and photo gifts. I also ordered some super sweet gifts for some loved ones the same time I ordered our cards. Mugs with Bella's adorable little face on them (every single one personalized for the person they are for; the one shown is for my mom, or Bella's GramGram, shhh don't tell her though), I also got some lovely personalized glass Christmas ornaments (they come on a beautiful red ribbon), some personalized gift wrap (it's a Kraft brown with festive white letting and also our name), some notebooks, and these personalized Christmas throw pillows (found here and here) are some of our new favorites for sure! They also have personalize-able postage stamps! I had to make some with Bella's photo on them, and they're perfect for our Christmas cards! I chose gold envelopes (to match the gold foil writing and snowflakes on our cards) as well as the gold and black address labels.
